Opened in 1998, this 5 star boutique Hotel is situated in the centre of Funchal among the lush gardens of an old garden estate and away from the bustle of the city.

It offers its guests an exclusive and outstanding service with attention to every detail. Its modern architectural design was critically acclaimed for its bold statement by the media and was awarded by the City of Funchal Arquitecture Prize in 1999.

In the summer of 2002, after undergoing a series of important building and remodelling changes, the Hotel was formally invited and joined the exclusive independent Hotel and Resort association The Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

Getting There

Going out of the airport, take the freeway towards Funchal, keep driving about 20 km till you find the exit to Hospital/Porto/Funchal, take that exit and keep going down till the roundabout (you will see the hospital in your right hand side), keep going down till the 3rd traffic light, turn right, after the bridge, turn right, keep going up till the roundabout, take the exit on the left (you will be entering the Rua da Casa Branca), drive around 100 metres, right after the curve, you will see the entrance to the Estalagem Quinta da Casa Branca.
